Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned due to the unrest in the country.

There are massive protests in the country for Reservations and 100s of people have been killed so far.
In this context, the Prime Minister reportedly shifted to a safe place and resigned.

The Army Chief held talks with the political parties there. Later it was revealed that military rule has been imposed in Bangladesh. A caretaker government would be formed soon.
This development should be a spot of bother for India.

If Bangladesh becomes chaotic like Pakistan or Afghanistan, it is not good news for India.
Pakistan, China, and Sri Lanka are relatively problematic neighbors for India, But that is not the case with Bangladesh.
Except for illegal border crossing in the East, there are no major problems with Bangladesh.
Sheikh Hasina always maintained cordial relations with India.
It has to be seen if this unrest in the country will lead to another problematic neighbor.
India along with the World should work to restore a Democratic Government in Bangladesh soon.
