Revenue from operations in the January-March 2024 period increased 15% year-on-year to Rs 4,944 crore.
The company’s board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 10 per share for the year FY24.
The board has fixed August 17 as the record date for the purpose of determining the shareholders who are entitled for the payment of final dividend. It has also approved the re-appointment of Dr Prathap C Reddy as a Whole-Time Director designated as Executive Chairman for a period of two years.
EBITDA for the fourth quarter stood at Rs 640 crore in the reporting March quarter, compared with Rs 488 crore in the same quarter a year earlier. This is after cost of Rs Rs 151 crore incurred by Apollo 24*7 for the quarter (including Rs 106 mn non-cash ESOP charge). The healthcare business reported a revenue of Rs 2,563 crore in the March quarter as against Rs 2,195 crore in Q4FY23, showing a growth of 17% year-on-year.EBITDA for the business grew by 11% to Rs 593 crore, while margins came in at 23.1% in the reporting period.Apollo Health and Lifestyle‘s (AHLL’s) gross revenue recorded a growth of 15% year-on-year to Rs 355 crore. The diagnostics business added over 220 collection centres taking the overall network to 2,300-plus centres.
Apollo HealthCo, which includes the digital healthcare and omni-channel pharmacy platform, clocked revenue growth of 13% year-on-year to Rs 2027 crore.
Offline pharmacy distribution revenues came in at Rs 1788 crore in Q4FY24, while revenues from the digital platform were at Rs 239 crore.
The gross merchandise value (GMV) of Apollo 24/7 was reported at Rs 681 crore in the fourth quarter, showing a growth of 35% over Q4FY23. The average fourth quarter run rate of 54,000 per day order across pharma, diagnostics consultations.
