Telugu states have been caught up with incessant rains for the past two days. Due to the floods, many railway tracks and roads have been damaged, cutting the transportation between areas.
Meanwhile, Nellore district’s Sarvepalli TDP MLA Somireddu Chandra Mohan Reddy was stuck in a train while he was travelling to Hyderabad.

Somireddy was travelling to Hyderabad in Machilipatnam Bidar Superfast Express. As the railway track was damaged at Tallapusapally village of Warangal district, the train was stalled at Mahabubabad.
As a result, Somireddy, along with the rest of the passengers of the train, was stuck in Mahbubabad for hours. He informed about his situation to his former colleague, Errabelli Dayakar Rao.

Upon Errabelli’s word, Mahbubabad Municipality chairman Ram Mohan Reddy and Mahbubabad’s ex-MLA Bandi Pulliah visited Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy and hosted him.
Somireddy thanked all the local leaders for their hospitality during these flood times. He also mentioned that the localities helped passengers by giving them food and providing basic amenities while the train was stuck at the station.

Meanwhile, both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have been receiving extremely heavy rainfall even today. As a result, many trains were suspended by the South Central Railway Zone.
