Rains hit Vijayawada severely, deeply disrupting public life. This is when government machinery should be available to the public, providing basic necessities like power and food.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, known for his disaster management skills, ensured he was available and visited flood-affected areas every two hours, directly interacting with locals to assess their immediate needs.

He arranged for food to be prepared in Durga Temple, along with several operational restaurants, to provide meals to people in the affected areas early in the morning.

Chandrababu repeatedly assured people wherever he went in Vijayawada that they are here to serve, not to command. He emphasized that this is the time they need to stand by the people 24/7. He assured that he will stay for the next 2-3 days until complete normalcy is restored and that he will be available to monitor everything himself.

He provided two helpline numbers, 112 and 107, for immediate assistance and called on all IAS and other officials to get closely involved in restoring public life.

Chandrababu Naidu personally monitored the situation from the command center, checking the ground conditions every few hours. At 3:20 AM, he stopped in Ibrahimpatnam, showing his commitment to restoring normalcy after the natural disaster.

Funnily, some Jagan supporters on social media questioning the need for Chandrababu Naidu to be on the ground, asking why he didn’t monitor the situation from the command center. However, in country like India, unless the top leadership takes charge, government machinery does not act fast. When the State CM personally gets involved, the work accelerates significantly, instilling confidence in the public.

Jagan’s supporters expect CBN to behave like their leader—staying at home and releasing a recorded message the next day.

But every leader has their own style, and Chandrababu Naidu is known for taking hands-on action during natural crises. This isn’t the first time, but Jagan’s supporters seem to be expressing their jealousy while the people are facing difficult times.
