Following the blockbuster success of the Jailer album, Anirudh Ravichander is back with Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyan.

Manasilaayo has an energetic vibe capturing the attention of fans. Rajinikanth and Manju Warrier’s vibrant performance in the song adds to its appeal.
Anirudh, who sang the track alongside AI vocals of the late Tamil singer Malaysia Vasudevan, has once again showcased his musical prowess.

However, Telugu fans are expressing disappointment over what they perceive as Anirudh’s bias towards Tamil cinema.
Telugu netizens argue that Anirudh’s compositions for Telugu films, such as in Devara, seem repetitive and lack originality compared to his Tamil work.

For instance, the song Daavudi in Devara bears a striking resemblance to the Halamiti Habibo track from Beast, which Anirudh also composed.
The previous song, Chuttamalle, faced criticism for resembling Yohani’s hit track Manike, while The Fear song was described as a distant cousin of the Hukum song.
This has led Telugu audiences to accuse Anirudh of reserving his most original and impactful work for Tamil films, while his contributions to Telugu cinema seem to rely on rehashed tunes. We don’t know if Anirudh is intentionally giving rehashed tunes or Telugu directors are asking him to deliver specific kind of compositions as per their likes and tastes.
