Malayalam actor Shobana shared screen with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi drama Kalki 2898 AD. The film went on to make over Rs 1000 crore. However, this was not the only film where she worked with the star. She recently surprised her fans with an Instagram Live where she answered many fan questions. Speaking about him, Shobana said, “From then to now, Amitabh Bachchan has been the same.” Calling him the most humble artiste that she has worked with, Shobana said, “One thing that ties great actors together is their humility.” She recalled the time when she shot with him in Ahmedabad. While she didn’t reveal the film or song’s name, Shobana said, “I will share an anecdote about Bachchan sir from a time when I shot for a song with him in Ahmedabad many years ago. For the song, I had loads and loads of clothes wrapped around me. Bachchan sir had his caravan and the entire Ahmedabad came to a standstill because they all crowded to see Amitabh Bachchan. When I asked, ‘where is my caravan’ because I had a lot of costume change to do… Someone on the set randomly said, ‘She is from Kerala, they are very adjustable, she can change behind a tree.’”

I even told him, ‘Sir, you don’t have to get up to greet everyone.’ And he said, ‘But that is deeply ingrained in me.’”
