Former Minister and senior YCP leader Ambati Rambabu is one of those leaders who often puts his party into trouble with his controversial statements. He is known for such controversial statements and sarcastic tweets on social media.

He has been vocal about the recent Allu Arjun controversy since the day the actor was arrested. He has been taking a stand for Allu Arjun and criticizing the Congress government in Telangana for arresting and allegedly harassing him.
Already, his party is in neck-deep trouble in the state and fighting for its survival. Despite focusing on rebuilding the party, Rambabu has been messing with the Telangana government.

This sarcastic statement is a reference to the popular sofa scenes in Allu Arjun’s latest film Pushpa 2, where the protagonist bribes politicians with sofas filled with money to get his work done. Rambabu said that the same thing should happen in real life to solve the Allu Arjun issue.
Today, while appreciating Telugu lad Nitish Reddy for scoring his maiden Test hundred, Rambabu criticized Revanth Reddy and his Congress government.

After scoring a fifty against Australia, Nitish Kumar Reddy celebrated in the trademark Pushpa “Thaggede Le” style. Sharing that video, Ambati Rambabu tweeted, “While Pushpa is making waves worldwide, how can I trust you when you harass the same actor and claim to be elevating Telugu cinema to the next level?”
It was evident that Rambabu was taking a clear dig at the Telangana government for arresting Allu Arjun and actively pursuing his case. Recently, CM Revanth Reddy held a meeting with Telugu film industry bigwigs to reportedly discuss the development of Telugu cinema and how to take it to an international level.
Meanwhile, people on social media opined that it is time for Ambati Rambabu to focus on real issues and developing the party rather than poking the ruling party of the neighbouring state and CM Revanth Reddy. This constant poking may not harm him but his party too.
