TDP district present Gandi Babjee came down heavily on former Minister Gudivada Amarnath for his comments stating that the NDA government was taking credits for the development projects ‘which were initiated by the YSRCP government’.
Addressing the media, Mr. Babji questioned Amarnath to reveal the projects or investments which he had brought to Visakhapatnam during the YSRCP’s tenure.
He said that Mr. Amarnath should remember how he was refused by the people in the last election. “Making such baseless statements will add to the bad reputation of Mr. Amarnath,” he said and alleged that the previous YSRCP government has failed to provide land for the railway zone headquarters.
Jana Sena Party (JSP) corporator P.L.V.N. Murthy alleged that that Mr. Amarnath was busy spreading false propaganda. He said that Mr. Amarnath was elected by the people of Anakapalli but he had failed to even provide drinking water to the residents of his constituency.
