Chandrababu Naidu Government is making serious progress in Amaravati.
CRDA has invited tenders for the construction of permanent buildings for the High Court and the Assembly in Amaravati.

The cost of the two buildings is estimated to be Rs 1,816 crore.
The CRDA, which has given a deadline for submission of tenders till the 17th of this month, will open the technical bid on the same day.

Later, it will examine the financial bids and qualifications and finalize the agencies.
As the Assembly building is unique, CRDA recently organized a workshop with Fosters as per the request of the contractors.

It provided awareness of the building’s shapes and architectural style.
The Assembly building will be constructed in Super Block ‘E’ of the Amaravati Government Complex. It will be spread over 103.76 acres and will cover an area of 11.21 lakh square feet.
The Assembly building has been designed differently with three floors including a basement, ground floor, and a basement.
When the estimates for this building were prepared by the TDP government in 2018, it was estimated that it would cost Rs. 555 crore. After the YSRCP government suspended the construction of the capital, the estimated cost increased to Rs. 768 crore.
The permanent High Court building will be constructed in Super Block ‘F’ of the Amaravati government complex. It will come up with an area of 20.32 lakh square feet on a total of 42.36 acres.
Earlier, the estimated cost was Rs. 860 crore. The foundation stone was laid by the then Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Ranjan Gogoi, on February 3, 2019. The work was stopped after the change of government after the elections.
According to the latest estimate, the cost of construction of this building has reached Rs. 1,048 crore.
That means a cost escalation of 401 Crore Rupees for the neglect of the YSR Congress Government.
