On October 1st, 2022, the family members launched Allu Studios on the occasion of Allu Ramalingaiah’s 100th Birth Anniversary. Back then, it was announced that it would be a state-of-the-art film studio and will cater to all the shooting and post-production needs of films.

However, sources say that the Studio plan has been downsized.
In the last couple of years, the Private Studio Lands concept became popular in Hyderabad. Instead of shooting in Studios, filmmakers are leasing lands in Hyderabad’s outskirts and building sets. This model is proving to be more economical than shooting in studios.

Also, Allu Studios was planned in Kokapet. Once the studio plan is announced, Kokapet has become a popular Real-estate destination.
The then BRS Government gave a big push to the development of the area and today it is a very popular residential area with premium gated communities.

From the business point of view, a multiplex is better than a film studio, Allu Aravind felt.
Only one floor is for the film studio and a multiplex is arriving on the remaining floors. Along with the shooting facility, there is also a small facility for Post-production works.
The entrance of both these entities (studio and multiplex) is planned differently to avoid any disturbance.
