After the failure of Indian 2, Shankar is back with the release of the most anticipated pan-Indian movie, Game Changer, starring Ram Charan in the lead.
This movie is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on January 10.

As part of the promotion, Shankar is now giving interviews on popular YouTube channels, in which he opens up about his upcoming projects, which have gone viral.
Shankar has said that, most probably, his next project will be Velpari, as he has already completed the script for this movie. He has also completed the script for another spy film, which is to be shot entirely abroad.

The success of Game Changer is crucial for Shankar, as after the disaster of Indian 2, many people criticized him for making over-budget movies. Due to the high budgets, if a movie fails, production houses face significant losses.
Now, Game Changer was made with a budget of around 400 crores.

If this movie also ends up as a failure, he might not be able to direct his dream project, Velpari, as it’s a historical subject that demands a heavy budget. Because of this, no producers might come forward to produce Velpari.
