YRF Film is expanding its spy universe much further with Alpha. It is an all female lead starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
As of now the buzz around the project is not that significant. Many claim that female led action has not been a great forte of Bollywood and this is a huge risk but would be beneficial if it works out well.

Critics and film pundits feel that YRF’s spy universe carries itself on the fame of many films contributing to the other. In the past War and Tiger helped intensify the appeal of Pathaan which already had a strong lead of SRK.
Similarly, now Alia Bhatt’s Alpha can also get a boost if stars join forces in full strength. Much depends on the War 2 box office which is led by Jr. NTR and Hrithik Roshan.

If War 2 does well the curiosity around Alpha would be increased plus there are claims that SRK and Hrithik will have a cameo in Alpha. But it has also been reported that Hrithik has been injured and the shoot of War 2 is delayed due to which it might release later in Christmas.
If rumours are to be considered, Alpha’s designated Christmas release might also be delayed. Veteran actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya has also joined the star cast to add more buzz to the film.
