Alia Bhatt showers love on first look of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal | Hindi Movie News

After Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Ranbir Kapoor’s next release is going to be Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s Animal. He is going to be showcased in a never seen before avatar of a gangster, which Sandeep in his own words has called a violent film. The pre-teaser which was launched a few months ago had upped the audience’s expectation; it had shown Ranbir taking on a group of masked men.
And as the time to kickstart the promotions of the film is here, the makers have recently announced that the teaser of the film will be unveiled on Ranbir’s birthday; 28th September. A new poster of the film was released today and Alia Bhatt can’t get enough of her husband.
In the new poster, Ranbir can be seen in a blue suit with dark sunglasses, long hair, looking rugged with a cigarette in one hand and lighter in another. Sharing the new look, the makers wrote, “He is elegant…He is Wild…You will see his rage on September 28th. #AnimalTeaserOn28thSept.”
Alia took to Instagram to share Ranbir’s first look and wrote, “Oh hi!” along with a boom emoji.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, producer Bhushan Kumar shared that they are gearing up for a 2 month long promotional campaign for the film. The film was earlier supposed to release on 11th August and was going to clash with Gadar 2, but due to the post production issues, the film was pushed back. Talking about the reason behind the delay, Sandeep mentioned that it was because of quality issues.
He said that since Animal is being released in five languages, he will need to create an additional 28 songs and work with different lyricists and singers to achieve the same results as he did with the Hindi version. He didn’t want the audience to feel that they were watching a Hindi movie with Tamil or Telugu subtitles.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri and is slated to release December 1. Animal is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Hindi directorial after the 2019 film Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
