Fan wars are common in the film industry, they often take a toxic turn and sometimes end up being hilarious. Something similar happened in the context of Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor’s rivalry where Alia fans have found the perfectly funny reason to drag Shraddha down.
Interestingly, in a podcast the director of the blockbuster film franchise Stree, Amar Kaushik, revealed why Shraddha was casted for this iconic role. He gave the credit of this decision to the creator of the Maddock Films’ Horror-Comedy Universe, Dinesh Vijan.

Once Dinesh was on a flight with Shraddha and he noticed that she laughs like a chudail and decided she’s the perfect fit to play the ghost/chudail in the film. This surely doesn’t sound like a compliment and Alia fans just needed this to start trolling Shraddha.
They started writing stuff on the internet like thank God Shraddha smiles like a chudail otherwise her career would end or that her ugly laugh gave her a blockbuster because her acting couldn’t. Shraddha fans jumped to her defence, they showed their anger on Amar for not choosing his words wisely and trolled Alia for her flop film Jigra.
