Fans are eager for Akshay’s blockbuster comeback with his next release Sky Force. One of their biggest regrets is the fact that he couldn’t regain his role in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise.

While even Vidya Balan returned with her iconic role of Manjulika, Akshay was nowhere near it. In a recent interview for Sky Force releasing on 24 January, when Akshay was asked about the same, he gave a shocking reply.
He said “Mujhe Nikal Diya tha, that’s it”. Fans were so disappointed to see their favorite star dejected by his removal from the franchise he led in 2007.

They felt that he is a superstar, and this kind of low morale doesn’t suit him. His 40-day shoot formula is not working, and his staggering fee of over 100 crore yields only a 2-3 crore opening which is unfortunate and that is why makers are preferring other heroes.
Fans are eager to see him in a comic role and witness box office success. If Akshay brings back his iconic comedy on screens with his upcoming projects like Hera Pheri 3 and Bhoot Bangla there is still hope.
