Interestingly, this project bears a strong resemblance to Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saab, which is also a horror comedy with three heroines, Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar.
Although there’s no official confirmation from the makers on whether Akshay’s film is a remake of The Raja Saab, the similarities in the core plot have sparked speculations.
Akshay Kumar has faced several disasters like Bachchan Paandey, Laxxmii, Sarfira, Selfiee, and Cuttputli which were remakes. Fans have expressed their frustration, warning Akshay that they would stop watching his films if he continues to do remakes.
Despite these setbacks and the clear message from his audience, it appears that Akshay is still choosing to sign on for remake projects, raising concerns about his future film choices.
Whether this new venture with Priyadarshan will help Akshay reclaim his former glory remains to be seen.
