It seems like Akshay Kumar is planning for a comeback after delivering a lineup of flops. The Sarfira star has now collaborated with director Priyadarshan for a new film titled Bhooth Bangla, and the latter has also cast his common selections over the years, including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani.

The combination of the above-mentioned stars has always led to a decent result at the box office. The iconic dialogues and moments from De Dana Dan, Phir Hera Pheri, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa are alive in everyone’s hearts today.
Priyadarshan has a habit of repeating the same set of actors in his films. All four legends chosen for Bhooth Bangla are known for their outstanding comedy timing on screen and this means that they need dialogues that would make the audiences laugh until the end.

But things might not get repeated since we don’t have a talented writer like Neeraj Vora with us today, who collaborated with Priyadarshan in most of his comedy films in Bollywood.
The upcoming horror comedy is also expected to follow a similar format as we have seen in Priyadarshan’s films over the years. Considering that it goes on floors next year, the makers will ensure to not repeat the mistakes that have led to Akshay’s downfall.

On the other hand, Priyadarshan is also struggling to win the hearts of the audience for some time. Furthermore, his last Hindi film Hungama 2 also received a negative response.
