Akshay Kumar had a disastrous 2024 and he has not given a decent hit for a long time now. After the pandemic the star has been going through a bad phase in career.
And for 2025 he has a few scheduled movies that might do something to break the flop streak now.

‘Welcome 3’ has probably been postponed to 2026 but there are two other franchise movies with some potential. ‘Jolly LLB 3’ and ‘Housefull 5’ will be both coming out this year and these franchises have a trusted audience base too.
There is a probability that Akshay Kumar will redefine himself once again with the genre and franchises that he flourished in.

There are also movies like ‘Sky Force’ coming out in 2025. It will be releasing on 26th January and it’s going to be Akshay’s first release of the year.
‘Sky Force’ and ‘Sankara’, which is the biopic of C. Sankara Nair are anticipated titles but have less chances than the comedies.

Drama movies like ‘Mission Raniganj’ and ‘Sarfira’ did not work out so well and despite having good reviews from audiences and critics, Sarfira was a disaster too.
So now Akshay has to resort to sequels of movies that have gathered a huge audience base over the years and hopefully it will be the right decision.
