It seems like the makers of Welcome to the Jungle are supposed to maintain their commitment by releasing the film at Christmas this year. The filming is still in progress and as per the latest update, 75% of the shooting is already complete.
With Firoz Nadiadwala and Jyoti Deshpande producing the project, the makers managed to bring a huge star cast to entertain the audience on the big screen.

Reports have claimed that the makers have also completed an edit of almost 2 hours based on the footage that has been filmed until now. The basic premise is supposed to be a big adventure, covering various places, including the forests of India.
An insider stated that the producers are aiming to wrap up the film by June 2025 so that they can start the post-production work. The source added that the film will feature some outstanding one-liners and bring a different side of Akshay Kumar that audiences have never seen in the past.

It seems like Bollywood might deliver a big blockbuster in the upcoming Christmas. After Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017, the Hindi film industry has not provided a hit on this specific occasion.
Despite featuring a huge star cast, there is a possibility that Welcome to the Jungle will face some competition. This year’s December is going to be a crowded month with multiple releases.

Welcome to the Jungle will clash with YRF Spy Universe’s next installment Alpha, which will also arrive on Christmas.
A few days later, Shakti Shalini, a new entry in Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Supernatural Universe will be released, which is supposed to increase the competition considering the reputation of the franchise.
Now everything will depend on the film’s content and overall budget. If the first-day shows receive decent feedback with decent occupancy, Welcome to the Jungle will easily survive. But if audiences are not impressed, it will add another disaster to Akshay Kumar’s credits.
