    Ajay Devgn appreciates Varun Dhawan amid Bhediya-Drishyam 2 box office clash | Bollywood


    Actor Ajay Devgn responded to Varun Dhawan’s tweet on the box office response to their respective films, Bhediya and Drishyam 2. Both films are racing against each other at the ticket windows.     Varun wrote in his tweet, “#bhediya has given me so much love it feels amazing to see Soo many people coming to the theatres. A special Sunday as #Dhrishyam2 and #Bhediya give a lot of happiness to all cinema lovers congratulations @ajaydevgn sir and @AbhishekPathakk.”

    Replying to him, Ajay Devgn celebrated how both have managed to bring the audience to the theatres. “Hey @Varun_dvn I’m happy Bhediya & Drishyam 2 have managed to bring the audiences back to the theatres. It’s a feel good moment for us as an Industry. You’re a rockstar,” he said on Twitter.

    Abhishek Pathak’s Drishyam 2 is the sequel to Ajay and Tabu’s 2015 hit Drishyam, and the remake of Mohanlal’s 2021 Malayalam film, with the same title. The film took a strong opening at the box office, registering the second-best opening weekend for a Bollywood film this year, and crossed 200 crore in gross worldwide collections in 10 days.

    On the other hand, Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Abhishek Banerjee was released on November 27. It registered a low opening initially but later picked up . It has so far made a business of 28 crore in its first weekend and giving fair competition to other films.

    Varun will be next seen in Bawaal, opposite Janhvi Kapoor. Ajay has Bholaa, with Tabu as next one in the pipeline.
