By Dipali Patel: The International Indian Film Academy(IIFA) Awards promises to be a treat for all Bollywood fans. The stars have already reached Yas Island for the big ceremony and the pre-event was just as star-studded. This year, Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal will be hosting the award show. However, Abhishek’s wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, would not be attending it. The reason- their daughter Aaradhya’s school!
AISHWARYA TO GIVE IIFA A MISS DUE TO AARADHYA’S SCHOOL
India Today has learnt that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will give IIFA 2023 a miss, even though her husband Abhishek Bachchan will be co-hosting it with Vicky Kaushal. The reason is their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan’s school! Yes, Aishwarya and Aaradhya are staying back in Mumbai.

At the press conference, Abhishek was asked why Aishwarya wasn’t there with him and the actor himself revealed that Aish would give this year’s IIFA a miss because of Aaradhya’s school.
It was just a few days back that Aishwarya went to the 76th Cannes Film Festival. She was accompanied by Aaradhya.

Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan are all set to host IIFA 2023. The awards will be interspersed with live performances, with Salman Khan leading the way. Jacqueline Fernandez, will give him company, along with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Nora Fatehi, and Rakul Preet Singh will also set the stage on fire with some very special performances.
This year, Kamal Haasan will be felicitated for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema’. On the other hand, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh are all set to be honoured for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Regional Cinema’ at IIFA 2023. Meanwhile, celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra will be honoured for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Fashion in Cinema’.
