Recently, BRS working president KT Rama Rao filed a defamation case against Telangana cabinet minister Konda Surekha for allegedly making derogatory remarks against him, damaging his reputation. This petition was filed in response to Surekha’s comments stating that KTR was the reason behind Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s divorce.
Now, KTR filed another defamation case against Union Minister of State and BJP MP, Bandi Sanjay. In his petition, KTR alleged that Bandi made derogatory comments about him in a recent media interaction. KTR further demanded that Bandi Sanjay issue an apology within a week, warning that he would take legal action if Bandi failed to do so.

In his complaint, KTR noted that Bandi Sanjay had falsely accused him of being involved in drugs, engaging in phone tapping, and secretly collaborating with Revanth Reddy to escape from cases. He challenged Bandi Sanjay to prove these allegations before making further comments.
KTR explained that Bandi Sanjay’s remarks, which went viral in the media, might damage his reputation due to their malicious nature. Thus, he filed a defamation case.

On the other hand, Bandi Sanjay strongly responded to KTR’s defamation case. He asserted that KTR was resorting to legal notices because he couldn’t defend himself politically.
“Is sending notices your response to criticism? If so, I will file a case against you too. I only reacted to your insulting remarks. I will respond to words with words and to notices with notices,” said Bandi Sanjay.
