The trend of pan-India films has reshaped the cinema landscape in recent years. These movies break language barriers, reaching audiences across the country with dubbed versions or simultaneous releases.
Prabhas has become one of India’s biggest pan-India stars with Baahubali, Salaar, and Kalki 2898 AD. Saaho also did well in Hindi.

Allu Arjun, with Pushpa 1 & 2, has undisputedly become a huge pan-India star. His becoming such a big pan-India star without SS Rajamouli’s support makes it even more phenomenal.
His portrayal of Pushpa Raj enjoys widespread popularity, cementing his position as a pan-India star. However, outside the Pushpa world, it has to be seen how the Hindi audience responds to his films.

Jr. NTR also made a decent impact with Devara Part 1 last year. Despite not-so-great content, NTR managed to garner decent collections in Hindi.
He is poised to make a bigger impact with War 2, co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. This collaboration highlights the cross-industry partnerships that define pan-India films. The film is the biggest contender for the biggest blockbuster of 2025.

In such a scenario, it was expected that Ram Charan would also create some impact outside Rajamouli’s movies with Game Changer.
Right from the start, there were no big expectations from the movie, but it was expected it would at least lay a solid foundation for Ram Charan as a pan-India star, which he could build with his next movies.
But Game Changer has spoiled the game for him. The movie turned out to be extremely poor content-wise, and the audience reception was also negative.
The makers declared that the film collected 25 crores net in Hindi in its first weekend, which itself is nothing great, but industry insiders say that the real collections were not even 15 crores. The Hindi media is accusing Game Changer makers of doing self-bookings.
These allegations have seriously hurt Ram Charan’s image in the North. His producers label him a global star, but he has failed to make a mark even at the national level, trade pundits say.
Ram Charan’s next with Buchi Babu Sana currently doesn’t have any awareness or hype in the North. When it releases, Ram Charan has to start from zero, or we can say even from minus, to rub off the negativity caused by Game Changer and generate fresh interest for his next film.
Overall, it would take some more years for Ram Charan to target the pan-India market in a big way once again. Till then, it is a Tata Tata Bye Bye from Ram Charan as far as pan-India stardom is concerned.
