It is known that Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s upcoming film is getting officially launched with a formal Pooja ceremony today. Adding to the existing anticipation on this launch, Mahesh has done something out of the ordinary.
Usually, Mahesh Babu has the habit of skipping the launch ceremony of his films. Even for his last film, Guntur Kaaram, he didn’t attend the Pooja and instead sent Namrata and Sithara to the same.

Apparently, the last time that Mahesh Babu stepped out for the launch ceremony of his films was for Athidi, which released some 18 years ago. After all these years, Mahesh has now stepped out again for Rajamouli’s film.
This is a special film for Mahesh as he had been rooting to work with Rajamouli for over a decade now. Considering this dream come true moment of sorts, Mahesh should surely be looking to endure every single bit of cherish that comes with this project.

However, the makers have made sure that no visual footage of the ceremony got surfaced on social media. The event is being held behind closed doors and there’s no media access to the same.
The chances are that a picture from the ceremony today, featuring Mahesh and Rajamouli could be released later in the day. This would surely be the right way to capitalise on this mega budget, globetrotting action film.

In this context, an old tweet from Mahesh Babu back in 2010, where he excitedly speaks about a possible collaboration with Rajamouli is going viral today. It has been a long standing aspiration for Mahesh to work with this master craftsman and we are happy that he gets to finally realize this officially with the launch today.
