Aerial view of Norway’s Pulpit Rock stuns netizens. Watch viral video | Trending

A video that captures a breathtaking aerial view of Norway’s Pulpit Rock was recently shared online, and it has since left people both thrilled and scared. In the now-viral video, one can see people standing and sitting on Norway’s iconic Preikestolen, also known as Pulpit Rock. Some braver ones can even be seen going to the cliff’s edge that has no railings or barricades. It is the same cliff where Paramount Pictures held a special screening of Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Not just this, but the climactic fight between Tom Cruise and Henry Cavil in the movie was also shot on this mountaintop.

“In the Southwestern tip of Norway is a near vertical cliff with a flat plateaux, with incredible views over Lysefjord. This is called pulpit rock,” read the caption written along with the video shared on Twitter.

The video was shared five days ago on Twitter, and it has since accumulated more than two million views. The stunning aerial view has also received several comments from netizens. While many expressed their concerns about the deep crack in the plateaux, some shared pictures from their visit to the place.

“This is very confusing perspective. Is that sky or water below?” enquired an individual while sharing a screengrab from the video. “When I was there, there were 20-30mph winds. I didn’t dare approach the edge, but some people did, sitting with their legs dangling,” posted another.
