A couple of days ago, Tamil Actor Jayam Ravi announced a divorce with his wife, Aarti Ravi. He said that the decision had been taken due to personal reasons and in the best interests of everyone involved.
However, Aarti has now stated that Ravi announced divorce without her knowledge or consent. She released a press note earlier today stating that shocked and deeply saddened by the divorce announcement.

“I was deeply shocked and saddened by the recent public announcement regarding our marriage, which was made without my knowledge or consent. After 18 years of shared history, I believe that such a significant matter should be handled with the grace, respect, and privacy that it deserves,” she wrote.
She added that she tried to talk to her husband regarding the separation but didn’t get a chance, leaving her blindsided by the announcement.

“The decision to walk out of our marriage is purely one-sided and does not benefit our family,” Aarti added.
She said that as a mother, her first priority will always be the well-being of her children and added that she would help them navigate this difficult time with the strength and integrity they deserve.
