Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa drives his Jeep Wrangler off-road in Coorg, Karnataka [Video]

Many actors from the industry are actually auto enthusiasts and have a large collection of expensive and exotic cars. One such actor from South India is Darshan Thoogudeepa. Recently, a video of Darshan driving his Jeep Wrangler through a river bed has surfaced online.

The video was uploaded by MUNDODI VLOGS on their YouTube channel. In this video, Darshan is seen in some part of Coorg, Karnataka, along with his friends, going off-road in their vehicles. Darshan is driving a modified or customized Jeep Wrangler SUV for off-road purposes. The red Wrangler is driven by the actor himself, with his personal security standing on the footboard of the SUV to manage the crowd.

The group starts driving the SUV through an off-road trail, accompanied by a couple of old Mahindra Jeeps, Ford Endeavour SUVs, and Jeep Wrangler SUVs. The trail leads to a river bed. The Mahindra Jeep is the first to drive across the river, followed by the Ford Endeavour SUVs. The river has less water, so the drivers have to drive the cars over the rocks to get to the other side. The Mahindra Jeep crawls up the river without any issues, and the Ford Endeavour SUVs also climb the steep section successfully. In the group, there are two Jeep Wrangler SUVs. The first one is in stock form, while the one driven by Darshan is customized for off-road use.

The SUV is equipped with an off-road spec bumper, auxiliary lamps, and roof racks. Both the Rubicon SUVs cross the river bed without any problems. The actor drives the SUV out, and soon his fans who were waiting for him outside gather around the SUV. In the video, a current generation Mahindra Thar with aftermarket alloy wheels can also be seen crossing the same section without any issues. The Jeep Wrangler is a popular 4×4 SUV around the world and is officially available in the Indian market as well. The Jeep Wrangler sold here is actually made in India, which helps bring down the price of the SUV. The price for a Jeep Wrangler in India starts at Rs 59.05 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 63.05 lakh, ex-showroom. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that generates 268 Bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque.
