Meanwhile, Bollywood is also gearing up for a similar action-adventure film with Indian mythology and folklore at its core.
Ajay Devgn is set to star in Ranger, directed by Jagan Shakti, with shooting scheduled to start in December. He will play a state forest officer on a quest for a legendary relic.

The film, also a big-budget project, has drawn comparisons to Indiana Jones. Ajay will adopt a rugged, weathered appearance similar to Harrison Ford. Filming will take place in a North Indian forest to give it an authentic adventure feel.
So Ranger is going to be released before Rajamouli’s film. Some people on social media are saying that Bollywood is trying to steal the thunder from Rajamouli by making a similar film and releasing it first.
But the truth is, even if Bollywood makes a hundred such films, they cannot match Rajamouli’s vision or execution, not even 1%.
