Recently, there has been a wave of ex-Indian cricketers coming out and revealing how they were mistreated by the senior players. Gautam Gambhir has become the latest victim, coming under fire after a viral interview.
Manoj Tiwary, former Indian batsman, shared his experiences playing with Gambhir and claimed he got frustrated after Tiwary performed better than him during a match. He said that the Indian head coach used to abuse him on the field and even threatened to beat him up.

Tiwary further shared that Gambhir even said vile things about Sourav Ganguly, claiming he became BCCI head only through his internal sources. These allegations seem very serious but the online reactions are a mixed bunch.
Some users called Tiwary out for using Gambhir’s name for clout. “Why didn’t anyone share these incidents earlier?” one user said, questioning the former batsman’s integrity.

A fan went on to attack Tiwary in response, alleging that he and his brother are land mafias in Howrah and extort crores of money from builders. But people questioned, “How is that even related to anything he said?”
Nonetheless, there is no proof of any allegations being thrown around by the two sides. Thus, the fans should take them with a pinch of salt and not jump to conclusions, hurling abuse at anyone.
