ABB India marks 75 years of operations

The global drive for electrification, automation, and digitalization is reshaping utilities, manufacturing, and transportation, as companies adopt these technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability goals.
ABB India marked its 75th anniversary, reflecting on its role in advancing electrification, automation, and digitalization since its establishment in 1949.
“Operating across 23 sectors, the company has key manufacturing hubs in Faridabad, Vadodara, Nashik, Nelamangala, and Peenya. These facilities focus on producing energy-efficient motors, traction technology, and switchgear,” said the spokesperson.
As part of its sustainability initiatives, ABB India has achieved an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions since 2019. This milestone has been reached through measures such as adopting renewable energy sources, implementing energy-efficient technologies in its operations, and transitioning to eco-friendly manufacturing practices.
