Azees Nedumangad who was in the Malayalam film Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey released in 2022 revealed how the Hindi remake of the film was almost finalized by Aamir Khan but dropped shortly. The film featured Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran, directed by Vipin Das, it became a massive hit.
Its Hindi remake was supposed to have some starcast from the original film and others from the Hindi film industry. However, due to lack of prompt response it kept getting delayed and Aamir finally dropped it.

It was about a woman named Jaya who marries a poultry farm owner who physically abuses her. In a heartfelt tale of self-realisation Jaya learns to retaliate.
After this revelation fans are saying it’s only for the good that the much loved film was not spoiled by getting remade into Hindi. They feel that these days it seems like Aamir Khan’s creativity is bankrupted, he relies solely on remakes and adaptations.

From Laal Singh Chaddha remake of Forrest Gump to Sitaare Zameen Par remake of Campeones, he has nothing original left in the bag. Many took a dig at his son’s flop career by saying that everyone has watched Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey on OTT ever since its big screen release now, unlike his son’s film Loveyapa, a remake of Tamil film which neither worked on big screens nor OTT.
