NTR – a name that resonates in the hearts of Telugu people, even after 25 years of his death, he is symbolic of Telugu pride.
A man who had humble beginnings, he left an indelible mark as the leading man in the Telugu film industry. A Nata Ratna in films, the Telugu people are now demanding for a Bharat Ratna in keeping with the services rendered by him to Telugu people.

But just like in films, where he portrayed different shades through his characters, even his political life was a case study in itself.
During his sunset years as the leading man, NTR took the decision to enter politics to uphold Telugu pride. At a time when there was no identity for Telugu people on the national level, he put Telugu people and Telugu culture on the national plane.

Just like his films, NTR was an instant success amidst people of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh who were craving a break from the Congress party.
NTR not only filled the vacuum of an able leader, he strived for Telugu and its people. He took the Center headon and proved that a regional party could create ripples and change the political canvass in the country.

NTR was not a man of subtlities. He spoke his heart, stood by his promises and pioneered the path of self respect to Telugu people.

A man who feared none, roared his way into politics and made the country look upto Andhra Pradesh and Andhra people.
For his stern oeuvre, he was soft-hearted from inside as vouched by many of his followers from various walks of life.
Decades after he passed away, NTR continues to live on in the hearts of not just Telugu people, but Indians at large through his films and the political legacy he left behind.
