Rajinikanth’s Jailer is one of the biggest blockbuster movies of Kollywood, released last year on August 10th. This movie has done wonders in box office collections and also showcased that Rajinikanth is still at his peak.
Jailer was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and has a bunch of star-studded actors, which include Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, and many others. Also, superstars of three industries, which include Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff, have appeared in a cameo role in this movie. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for this movie, and all the songs in this movie were chartbusters.

Even though the movie was released one year ago, the movie still has lots of impact among Tamil audiences as Jailer showcases a never-before-seen Rajinikanth, and with Anirudh’s Hukum, the movie set the screens on fire during the time of its release. Now Sun Pictures, which produced this movie on behalf of the 1 year of Jailer, has released a 3-part series titled Jailer Unlocked on Sun NXT OTT Platform, which has the making of this movie and the funny moments during the shooting. This series has again’ brought back the memories of the Jailer movie.
Is Sun TV releasing this 3-part series with a plan to maintain the movie’s aura amongst the audiences so that when Part 2 of this movie is announced, it has the same vibe among the audiences? Because there was a strong buzz that Nelson Dilipkumar was planning to direct the sequel to this movie.
