What channel is Rams vs. Chiefs on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 12 game

The Chiefs play what feels like a rare game outside of a prime-time slot this weekend, in a matchup that looked like one of the regular season’s best just a few months ago. Instead, Kansas City is favored by two touchdowns against a Rams team that looks like a shell of the group that won the Super Bowl in February.

The Rams (3-7) are playing their way to an early elimination, and an already shaky offense might be without star Cooper Kupp the rest of the way. While Matthew Stafford was finally forced to start incorporating some other weapons in Week 11, it wasn’t enough to avoid a fourth consecutive loss.

To make matters worse, Stafford entered concussion protocol for the second time in three weeks and might be forced to miss this game in Kansas City.

The Rams’ demise is a microcosm of how quickly fates can change in the NFL. Just 10 months ago, Rams-Chiefs was the matchup many expected in the Super Bowl. Now, the game might mark the final blow to Los Angeles’ playoff hopes.

Patrick Mahomes appears to be rolling toward his second MVP award as he continues to torch defenses. Not only is he putting up unmatched numbers, but he has the Chiefs atop the AFC and cruising toward a division title. Even the very best effort from the Rams’ offense won’t be enough if the defense can’t find a way to neutralize Mahomes.

At this point, all that’s left for the Chiefs in the regular season is to find the perfect balance between staying healthy and earning a first-round bye.
