Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez gifts him Rolls Royce Dawn as a Christmas present [Video]

The world cup 2022 was not something worth remembering for the ace footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the festive day of Christmas surely was worth remembering for him, as his partner Georgina Rodriguez gifted him a new Rolls-Royce car on the festive occasion. In one of her recent Instagram videos, Georgina is seen gifting a white-coloured Rolls-Royce Dawn to Cristiano Ronaldo as a surprise gift for Christmas.

The video also shows an awestruck Ronaldo, who was walking out to the front of the house towards the porch where the Dawn was parked with red-coloured ribbons wrapped around it. In the middle of the video, Ronaldo, along with Georgina and their children, are seen getting into the new vehicle for a short spin. A few hours later, Ronaldo also thanked Georgina for giving him the Rolls-Royce Dawn as a Christmas gift in one of his Instagram stories.

Many people are excited to see Cristiano receiving the Dawn as a new Christmas gift. However, it is worth noticing that Rolls-Royce discontinued the Dawn at the beginning of 2022. So, the Dawn gifted to Ronaldo might either be one of the last produced models of Dawn or might be purchased as a used car.

Rolls Royce Dawn

The Dawn was introduced by Rolls-Royce as a replacement for the ageing Phantom Drophead Coupe in 2015 and remained in production for nearly seven years.

Sharing its platform with the first-generation Ghost, the Rolls-Royce Dawn was touted to be a two-door convertible version of the Wraith coupe, which has also been discontinued by Rolls-Royce. However, according to Rolls-Royce, around 80 per cent of the body panels of the Dawn are different from the Wraith.

The Rolls-Royce Dawn was available solely with a 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, which it shared with the Wraith two-door coupe. Mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox, this V12 engine claimed 571 PS of maximum power and 820 Nm of maximum torque. Rolls-Royce claimed that the Dawn was capable of pulling from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds.

It is to be noted that the Dawn is the last-ever convertible Rolls-Royce car to have an internal combustion engine under its hood. Rolls-Royce has already confirmed that the convertible version of the upcoming all-electric Spectre will be brought in as a replacement for the Dawn. Unlike the Dawn, which was based on a BMW-derived platform, the new Rolls-Royce Spectre will be based on an all-new architecture.

Ambani also owns a Rolls Royce convertible

The Ambani family bought the most expensive Rolls Royce in its time – the Phantom Drop Head Coupe! This car rarely comes out of the garage and is only of the few Phantom DHCs in India. The white-coloured body with a red coloured roof is a striking Phantom DHC. The convertible is mostly spotted with the youngest son of the Ambanis – Anant Ambani and he has been even spotted going for a walk with the Phantom DHC following him! Even this Phantom DHC comes powered by the same 6.8-litre V12 turbocharged petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 460 Bhp and a peak torque of 720 Nm. To date, it remains one of the most expensive convertibles on sale in India.
