RedMagic 8 Pro Series Gaming Phone
On the afternoon of December 26, gaming phone brand RedMagic held a new product launch event, officially bringing the first gaming phone equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile platform.
This time there are two models of RedMagic 8 Pro and RedMagic 8 Pro+, but the two phones are identical in other configurations except for the difference in fast charging power and storage version.

About the RedMagic’s self-developed Red Core R2 chip, the official description is that it is a chip used to enhance the user’s gaming control experience, supporting rich customization of shoulder keys, vibration, light effects, sound effects, and intelligent scene recognition algorithms (such as lights moving with the sound, intelligent vibration motor), but also to efficiently realize several control links linkage, improve the synergy of multiple control links, to bring players more immersive effects, to achieve the strongest dual-core combination.
The RedMagic 8 Pro+ has a battery capacity of 5000mAh, supports 165W Magic fast charging, comes standard with a 165W Gallium Nitride charger, and parallel triple charge pump design.
The battery capacity of RedMagic 8 Pro is increased to 6000mAh, but the fast charging power is decreased to 80W, which also comes standard with an 80W fast charging head, this is the only difference between the two RedMagic 8 Pro.
