Real Madrid are not going to put their planning on hold again as they and the entire footballing world wait for Kylian Mbappe‘s decision on his Paris Saint-Germain future.
There has been no contact between the PSG striker’s representatives and Real Madrid since he renewed his contract with the Ligue 1 champions.
PSG are now forced to find a solution to an uncomfortable situation in the dressing room following the 2022 World Cup final and the controversial celebrations by Argentina players mocking Mbappe.
The club have reached an agreement with Lionel Messi to renew his contract, so Mbappe may be considering his future at PSG.
However, PSG are not keen to allow Mbappe to depart, as they currently boast the finest attacking trident in European football. They want to find a way to make it work.
Mbappe’s demands at PSG
The France striker has demanded to be considered as the leader of the team. He did the same with Les Blues and almost led them all the way to the trophy.
However, Messi is also a leader and this is a potential issue that president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and advisor Luis Campos should handle soon in order to compete for the Champions League title this season.
Mbappe agreed on a contract renewal seven months ago, but he already knows how complicated it could be to achieve what he asked for.
His dream scenario still hasn’t been realised, which may have him reconsidering his future once more.
Real Madrid won’t support Mbappe
The forward’s main issue at the time being is that he will not find any allies at Real Madrid in the event that he tries once again to force his way out of the Ligue 1 club.
Mbappe will struggle to find a new club, as PSG have given him a lucrative contract, one which not many teams could match.
Not even Real Madrid would be able to meet his demands, which could reach 100m euros per season including bonuses.
The truth is that no one has approached Real Madrid, nor have Los Blancos made any move in that direction. Nor do they intend to do so.
Their plan is clear: after signing Endrick, the LaLiga Santander side will next try to bring Jude Bellingham to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
