The electric versions of the Tigor, Nexon and the upcoming Punch EV will also get the new branding
Tata Motors has introduced a new ‘.EV’ sub-brand for its all-electric range of cars. The new branding will be rolled out across its existing electric models soon.
According to Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy, the ‘.EV’ branding will be used to differentiate its electric models going forward. The same is already in use on the electric Tiago. The ‘EV’ suffix on the electric versions of the Tigor and Nexon will also be replaced with the ‘.EV’ branding soon.
Until now, the only differentiating elements on Tata’s electric range were the blue colour accents and the ‘EV’ suffix. The new branding will enable the carmaker to move away from the blue highlights and offer more exterior colour options across its EV range.
