AMRITSAR: The American Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has censured the vandalising of the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Newark, California, allegedly by Khalistani separatists .

He said that reflecting the core principles of Sikh tenets and American values, the Sikh community staunchly supports the universal right to practice religion freely and without fear.
“Our commitment to these ideals is deeply rooted in our history, as demonstrated by the ultimate sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur, who laid down his life to protect the religious freedom of Hindus,” he said.
