Is Vivek Ramaswamy hiring a nanny with starting salary of $100,000?

The race to be the Republican presidential nominee to challenge Joe Biden for the 2024 White House contest is slowly but surely gaining momentum. As of now, former US President Donald Trump is leading the race among Republican candidates and with a wide margin. Trump is so confident that he has skipped both GOP presidential debates so far.
According to a poll on the Daily Mail, 27% of the viewers said that “absent” Trump was the real winner of the second GOP debate. But what was surprising that with 26% support, Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy emerged as the second most favourite candidate. In fact, he was voted as the winner of the debate among the participants.
“Of those who appeared on stage, some 35 percent of the 546 Republican respondents declared Ramaswamy to be the winner and 24 percent said DeSantis gave the best performance,” the Daily Mail poll found.
In fact, there has been an increase in support for Ramaswamy since his performance from the first Republican presidential debate in Wisconsin. Expectedly, he is gearing up to putting more time and energy into his campaign.
According to a report in the Insider, the billionaire Republican presidential seems to be expanding his household staff, as evidenced by a striking job listing on a specialized website catering to the hyperwealthy. The listing seeks a nanny for an astonishing annual salary of $100,000 or more, and all signs point to Ramaswamy, who has two young sons.
The job listing was discovered on EstateJobs.com, a platform tailored for affluent families in search of butlers, private chefs, chauffeurs, and other domestic staff.
The job description enthusiastically described the family’s lifestyle as one filled with curiosity, adventure, and constant motion. The nanny would be part of a team, working 84 to 96 hours per week on a rotation of seven days on and seven days off. The role involves coordinating with a dedicated team, including a chef, other nannies, a housekeeper, and private security, to ensure a seamless daily routine for the children, who are described as “gifted.” The nanny would also be responsible for curating the children’s play areas, toys, and clothing to create a stimulating and organized environment, the report said.
As per the Insider report, while the ad does not explicitly mention the client’s name, several details strongly suggest the Ramaswamy family. The listed zip code matches Ramaswamy’s voter registration address in Columbus, Ohio. The ages of the children align with those of Ramaswamy’s sons. Additionally, the ad specifies that the nanny must prepare vegetarian meals for the children, a dietary preference known to be true for Ramaswamy.
According to the ad, the family travels frequently, primarily by private jet, with Ramaswamy’s wife and sons often accompanying him on his campaign trail, which includes visits to Iowa and New Hampshire.
The advertisement highlights the family’s high-profile status, and an investigation by Insider narrowed down the potential candidates based on the zip code’s affluent residents. Of the 91 homes sold for over $1 million in the past decade, only Ramaswamy had a significant public profile.
As per the report, the job listing mysteriously vanished from EstateJobs.com shortly after Insider informed the campaign that they would be publishing the story.
