As India and Canada got involved into a diplomatic tussle over Khalistani terrorist Nijjar’s murder some anti-India activists smelled blood. They thought they could bring down India’s reputation by using Justin Trudeau’s unfounded allegation. One such anti-India activist is US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. On September 27, Ilhan Omar tweeted saying Canadian govt accusations were deeply concerning. She also said she would request a briefing on whether India has carried out similar operation in US. It was then that Shiv Sena UBT MP Priyanka Chaturvedi hit back, saying she would urge MEA to begin probe against Omar.
