Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has created history with its thunderous run at the box office, both in the domestic and international markets. The Atlee directorial has already become the fastest Hindi movie to cross the Rs 600 crore mark at the global box office. And now, the movie is inching closer to Rs 400 crore mark in India.
According to sacnilk, Jawanhad an overall 20.04 per cent occupancy for its Hindi version, 14.90 per cent for Tamil version and 20.99 per cent for Telugu version on Thursday.The early trend suggests that Jawan will earn Rs 19.50 crore on day 8, taking its total first week collection to Rs 386 crore for all languages.
On Thursday morning, Karan took to Instagram and penned an appreciation note for the team of Jawan. He started his note by giving a shout-out to Atlee for directing the film which has taken the box office by storm. He then praised actors Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Deepika, who has a special cameo in Jawan, left Karan mesmerised. he concluded the note by heaping praises on SRK. In his caption, he called SRK ’emperor’.
