Nawazuddin recalls rehearsing with Shah Rukh Khan, says ‘Salman is different…’ | Bollywood


Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is among the actors who have worked with both, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. In a new interview, he opened up about his work experience with both. While he said that best part of working with Shah Rukh was the rehearsals, Nawazuddin called Salman as a generous actor. The actor, who is known for his independent films, worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Raees. Released in 2017, the film featured Shah Rukh as a criminal while Nawaz played a cop. With Salman Khan, Nawazuddin appeared in hit films—Kick (2014) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).

When asked about the different processes of Shah Rukh and Salman when it comes to work, Nawazuddin Siddiqui told ETimes, “The best part of working with Shah Rukh Khan was that we got to do a lot of rehearsals. Even when the team would think that a particular scene should be redone, we would shoot it again.”

“With Salman bhai, the experience is different. He’s so generous as an actor that he will give his best dialogues to you to say. He’ll be with you in front of the camera and say, ‘Ye le, ye dialogue tu bol le yaar (You can take this dialogue)’. I enjoyed working with bhai a lot,” he added about Salman.

Nawazzudin gained recognition after starring in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur Part 2 in 2012. He was last seen in Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria’s Heropanti 2, which failed to sustain at the box office. Talking about the failure of his film, he had earlier told News18, “Picture chale na chale, lekin Nawazuddin Siddiqui toh chalega (I will always stay relevant irrespective of my film’s performance).”

The actor will be next seen in his upcoming film Haddi. Directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma, and co-written by him and Adamya Bhalla, the film is scheduled to be released next year. Nawazuddin also has films like Tiku Weds Sheru, Noorani Chehre and Bole Chudiya in the pipeline.
