‘Calling PM Modi a wolf…’: Vivek Agnihotri vs Cong leader over a tweet | Latest News India

Congress leader Supriya Shrinate and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri engaged in a Twitter duel on Sunday as the Congress leaders objected to a social media post and said it was derogatory for PM Modi. Vivek Agnihotri took a swipe at Supriya and called her ‘legend idiot’.

So what is the newest conflict point between Supriya Shrinat and Vivek Agnihotri? On December 10, Vivek Agnihotri made a congratulatory post after BJP’s historic win in the Gujarat Assembly Election 2022. In the post, he used the photo of a wolf leading his pack through a thick blanked of snow. “Followers will never know how hard the leader tries to create path,” the photo read.

Supriya Shrinate called it ‘shameful’ that Vivek Agnihotri apparently described PM Modi as the ‘wolf’ and the BJP leaders as a ‘pack of wolves’. “Despite our ideological differences, I strongly condemn it,” the Congress leader said.

In his reply, Vivek Agnihotri called the Congress leader ‘PiDi of Pappu’ and tweeted, “There are fools, there are absolute fools and then there is Pappu ke PiDi”. The reference was to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s pet dog Pidi.

Recently, Supriya Shrinate called Vivek Agnihotri the ‘new maafiveer in town’ after the Kashmir Files director sent a written apology to the Delhi high court for his 2018 tweets on Justice S Murlihar for granting bail to activist Gautam Navlakha.

Vivek Agnihotri and his Kashmir Files were at the centre of a recent controversy as Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid described the movie as vulgar and propaganda.
