The Maruti Suzuki Invicto will debut on July 5 while the Citroen C3 Aircross has already been confirmed to go on sale in the coming months
The seven-seater segment will witness the arrival of a number of new models before the end of this year. Here we have talked about all the possible upcoming three-row UVs (three SUVs and two MPVs):
1. Maruti Suzuki Invicto:
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be introduced on July 5, 2023 in India. It is the rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross and will be retailed through Nexa dealerships. The Invicto will become the most expensive offering ever from the Indo-Japanese auto major. It will have cosmetic changes taking inspiration from the Grand Vitara.
2. 7-Seater Citroen C3 Aircross:
The Citroen C3 Aircross debuted a few months ago and it will be sold in five- and seven-seater guises upon launch in the coming months. The midsize SUV is based on the CMP platform as its compact hatchback sibling, the C3. It will be equipped with the familiar 1.2L three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, paired only with a six-speed manual transmission.
3. Tata Safari Facelift:
The facelifted Tata Safari is expected to hit showrooms before the end of this calendar year. It will take plenty of design inspiration from the Harrier EV concept, which was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. As for the performance, a new 1.5L turbo DI petrol engine will more likely be introduced, mated to a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
4. Toyota MPV (Rebadged Ertiga):
Reports suggest that Toyota will launch a badge-engineered version of the Ertiga in India in the coming months. Bear in mind, Toyota already sells the Rumion, the badge swapped Ertiga, in the international markets. But, the India-spec version will have notable exterior differences and it will be powered by the 1.5L four-cylinder K15C mild-hybrid petrol engine.
5. Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus:
The spy images of the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus have appeared on the internet multiple times over the last several months. It could go on sale later this year and will likely be available in seven- and nine-seater layouts. It will feature a 2.2L diesel engine kicking out 130 PS and 300 Nm. It is more of a facelifted take on the TUV300 Plus.
