Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were involved in a heated exchange in the Indian Premier League 2023. The two legends almost came to blows but the intervention of KL Rahul, Faf du Plessis and other players brought the situation under control.
Gambhir has finally made a statement on his fight with the Kohli.
During one of the matches between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat was having a go at rival players. His sledging didn’t go down well with Naveen-ul-Haq, who treated the star batter in a similar fashion.
The situation escalated after the game when Gambhir confronted Kohli for his behaviour. Both were fined by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
In his recent interview with New18, Gauti opened up on his argument with his former teammate.
“My relationship with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are same. If there is an argument between us, it stays only on the field, not off field. There’s nothing personal. They want to win as much as I do,” he said.
