Aditya Lakhia recently reprised the role of his character ‘Kachra’ from the Aamir Khan starrer ‘Lagaan’ in an advertisement for a food delivery app. However, the ad sparked a controversy and received massive backlash on social media. Now, reacting to the criticism, the actor, during a conversation with a new portal, said it was supposed to be a positive concept where ‘Kachra’ was promoting anti-plastic and recycled garbage. But it terribly backfired, which is something they did not anticipate. ‘I would also say that if it has hurt a section of people and if an apology is required then I’ll give it’, said Aditya.
