Sara Ali Khan has been busy promoting her recently released film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. In a recent interview, she was indirectly asked about dating Shubman Gill.
Actor Sara Ali Khan has been on a promotional spree for her recently released film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, with co-star Vicky Kaushal. And while her films draw enough attention, her personal life is also a favourite topic of discussion among her fans. Sara is rumoured to be dating Indian cricketer Shubman Gill, and when she was asked recently if she is open to marrying a cricketer, the actor gave a diplomatic answer.
Sara’s grandmother and yesteryear superstar Sharmila Tagore married Indian cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. In an interview with India Today, Sara was asked if she is open to following in the footsteps of her grandmother on the personal front as well.
Sara said, “I think that the kind of person that I am… To find somebody, it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor… Maybe not doctors, they will run away. But you know the truth is that, jokes apart, you will need to match me on a mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think it’s great, but I think that would matter to me much, much more (than the profession).”

Rumours of Sara and Shubman Gill seeing each other started doing rumours after the two of them were spotted having dinner at a restaurant last year. Neither of them have reacted to the news so far, even though they have been spotted together on several occasions since.
When Sara was further asked if she is open to dating someone from the current Indian cricket squad, the actor said, “I’ll be honest with you, I think and I can say this with almost assurity, I think the person I am going to be with in my life, I have not met so far. I really don’t think so.”
Sara and Vicky’s film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke released in theatres on June 2, and has been performing decently at the box office.
