Motorola wants its fans in India to “make room for more magic” with the new Razr 40 Ultra’s upgraded 3.6-inch pOLED cover display. It and the rest of its clamshell form-factor is now confirmed as “coming soon” to this market, having just launched in Europe and North America.
The new foldable flagship has also been revealed to ship in India under its new 40 Ultra product name, rather than “Razr+” as in the US and Canada. The new device is also backed to bring all the new software tweaks that leverage its secondary display real estate to its latest market.
They include support for Google Maps, YouTube and even an app tray – which is where it beats its OPPO Find N2 Flip rival. Then again, the 2 clamshells have a custom, licensed Spotify UI and animated virtual pets in common.
Then again, the brand has yet to specify whether the vanilla Razr 40 variant, the brand’s hopefully more effective effort to bring foldables to the masses with mid-range specs, will join the 40 Ultra on the device’s to-be-determined launch date.
I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
