Xiaomi’s Redmi unveiled the Note 12 series in October, which is currently exclusive to China. But that’s about to change since Redmi’s Indian branch today announced that the Note 12 series will launch soon in India.
The Redmi Note 12 series consists of four smartphones – Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and Redmi Note 12 Discovery (aka Explorer). Judging by the image shared by Redmi, it appears the Chinese brand will bring three Note 12 smartphones to India.
Redmi hasn’t mentioned any names, but a closer inspection of the poster suggests the vanilla model won’t be launched in India. That’s because the Note 12 has a dual camera setup on the rear with circular flash, while others in the lineup feature triple rear cameras with flash modules of different shapes. And the three phones we see in the picture all feature triple camera setups.
